Marbles Kids Museum, The Triangle Down Syndrome Network, the Arc of Wake County, and a coalition of other support organizations in the Triangle present Family Fun Night for families of children with Special Needs, sponsored by the Kerr Cares for Kids Foundation!
This after-hours event will allow the kids 12 and under to experience the museum in a more calm, less crowded environment.This month's theme is "Celebrate the Arts!" focusing on theatre, music, visual arts and dance.
There will be sing-alongs, dance-alongs, word games, and lots of fun! And there will be space in the museum to have dinner if you bring a picnic.
 | The museum's exhibits offer opportunities for the kids to enhance their language development and social skills through purposeful play. The event will include resource information for special needs families, tools to help get the most out of their visit, and a "cool down" space for kids who may become over stimulated. |
