Participation by families and individuals in these events would be “self-pay,” meaning each would pay their own way if they wish to attend.

The examples given for the circus, Disney, and Monster Jam are all held at the RBC Center but this volunteer position could also expand eventually to involve coordinating events at other venues such as the Progress Energy Center, Raleigh Little Theatre, or Durham Performing Arts Center.

Responsibilities would include posting information on the listserv (yahoogroups), providing information to the newsletter editor before the publishing bi-monthly deadline, collecting RSVPs and coordinating with the office to make sure that payments are received and tickets distributed.
