Carnival Theme with inflatables (Moonwalk, Bounce House, Crawl, etc.), face-painting, clowns, super slide, train ride, fire truck, police and horses, obstacle course, playground, and additional entertainment from local childrens' groups.
Lunch will be provided.
Registration Fee:
The registration fee includes lunch, and access to all entertainment. Buddy Walk® t-shirts are guaranteed to early registrants.

What: 2009 11th Annual Triangle Down Syndrome Network Buddy Walk®
When: Sunday October 11th, 1:00pm to 4:00pm
Where: Brier Creek Community Park, 10810 Globe Road, Raleigh, NC 27617
Who: Triangle Down Syndrome Network (TDSN link)
Why: To celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month and to promote acceptance, inclusion, and empowerment of people with Down Syndrome
How: All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Triangle Down Syndrome Network (TDSN) which supports individuals with special needs
Registration Fees:
Before September 18th: $10 for adults, $5 for children age 12 and under
After September 18th: $15 for adults, $5 for children age 12 and under
The registration fee includes lunch, and access to all entertainment. Buddywalk t-shirts are guaranteed for all who register by September 18th.

The Buddy Walk, started by the National Down Syndrome Society, has become an international phenomenon with hundreds of thousands of people participating each year. The Triangle Down Syndrome Network has always held its Buddy Walk® in October to commemorate and celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month. Our local participation grows tremendously each year. There will be local celebrity appearances, games, and food.

The Triangle Down Syndrome Network (TDSN) needs your help this October to help celebrate National Down Syndrome Awareness month. TDSN's mission is to raise awareness in our community by supporting inclusion, advocacy, education, and activities that enrich the lives of people with Down syndrome.
