The Communication and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Project at the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute (FPG) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is studying communication and speech skills of children. The information from this study will be useful for developing language interventions.

Last week we received a donation check from SoftPro, a local company that has dress-down Fridays during the summer months. For employees to be eligible to participate, however, they must donate to a charity that is designated each week. TDSN was chosen to be the charity on one of the past Fridays even though, according to my contact there, no one there has a child with Down syndrome.
