Parents of new babies or who have a prenatal diagnosis are encouraged to contact us for information and support.  We have an award-winning New Parent Book that is distributed through many area genetics counselors, hospitals and doctors' offices.  It was put together by families within our group and has family stories as well as up-to-date medical information that serves as a valuable reference.  If you did not receive one, we would be happy to mail one to you.

Twice a year, we have New Parent Socials where families who are new to TDSN are invited to come meet each other as well as "veteran" members.  These meetings are not only for parents of new babies but also for those who are expecting, those who have recently relocated, or those who have recently affiliated with the group for whatever reason.

Our next New Parent Social is scheduled for August 7th.
